1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of bytevectorlane.digital and any analytics consulting engagement agreed with Bytevectorlane. A signed proposal or statement of work may add project-specific terms; if there is a conflict, that document takes priority for the relevant engagement.
2. Website use
You may use this website for lawful business information and enquiries. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, scrape it in a way that degrades service, or misrepresent our content as your own.
3. Consulting engagements
Scope, deliverables, timing, fees, dependencies and acceptance criteria are confirmed in writing before work starts. You agree to provide timely access to relevant people, documentation and systems, and to ensure that you are authorised to share any data supplied.
4. Fees and taxes
Fees are stated in the applicable proposal and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless specified otherwise. Invoices are payable by the due date shown. This website does not process payments.
5. Confidentiality and data
Each party must protect confidential information received from the other and use it only for the engagement. We minimise access to personal data and follow the agreed security and deletion arrangements. You remain responsible for lawful collection and disclosure of data under your control.
6. Intellectual property
After full payment, you may use engagement-specific deliverables for your internal business purposes. Bytevectorlane retains ownership of pre-existing methods, templates and general know-how. Third-party tools remain subject to their own licences.
7. Professional judgement
Analytics findings depend on available data, stated assumptions and platform limitations. We provide professional analysis, not a guarantee of revenue, campaign performance or a particular commercial outcome. You remain responsible for business decisions.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability relating to an engagement is limited to fees paid for the affected services, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Ending an engagement
Either party may end work according to the applicable proposal. Fees for completed work and committed third-party costs remain due. Refund and rescheduling rules are described in our refund policy.
10. Governing law and contact
